Shared Service Centre Malaysia. Started Jan 2009
Setting up a central call centre with integrated mobile solutions for nine smaller Asian business units where they could not justify, financially, having their own local call centre. Including CTI system, Ticketing and Dispatching.
Field Mobility (Sybase, Microsoft dot net)
Elevator breakdowns reported to the call centre are dispatched by GPRS to the engineer’s PDA, who reports his time and materials electronically, the backend system sends email notifications to the customer, billing is automated in SAP. Estimated ROI to date €7 million. Development cost €3.5M
eOptimum Extranet (C#, ASP.net, IIS, SQL Server)
Internet based reporting tool for customers to see status of elevators and extract reports. Used by property management companies to manage service contract costs.
KONE MAP Routing Application
Desktop application using MS Map Point API and SAP ODBC calls to generate map views of maintenance routes. Used to clean up overlapping routes and to optimise travel between sites and re-distribute work following mergers / acquisitions. Typical saving of 25% of travel costs
